Virtual Care

A Simple Approach to Rural Pregnancy Care
This program connects pregnancy care teams at Sanford Bemidji, Cass Lake IHS, and Red Lake IHS so they can work together.
Whether there’s an emergency or urgent situation, a patient has limited transportation options, or a patient prefers the safety of staying at home, virtual care allows providers to talk in real time to provide timely care for a patient in both urgent and routine visits. This promotes optimal patient care, keeps everyone on the same page, and avoids moving patients unless it’s truly needed.
