In Families First Group Prenatal Care
Pregnant people meet together throughout pregnancy to receive their individual health assessments one on one with a provider, and stay for group activities and discussions about pregnancy, birth, newborn care, postpartum care, and more. Because these visits replace most traditional prenatal care appointments there is no wait time for appointments, and extra time is dedicated to education and discussion about common concerns in pregnancy and postpartum.
Individual health assessment includes monitoring vital signs, baby's heartbeat, and a private exam & discussion with their provider.
Group participates complete activities and talk about topics to prepare parents for their pregnancy journey through birth, postpartum, and a new baby. Guest speakers may join sessions to share expertise and resources for common pregnancy concerns.
